Since Cory went to Washington, Jeffrey has become so attached to all things soft. He carries his pop (above) or one of his stuffed animals around the house constantly. He also needs lots of blankets to cuddle with. I'm not sure if it's a phase, but it's cute to see him cuddle with them. Cory brought him a stuffed bear from the Natural History museum and he LOVES it! So much that the bear already needs to visit the bear hospital for a little stitch therapy.

Ok, so Germans are fanatics when it comes to dressing babies warmly. When Jeffers was born he was in three layers and under two blankets the entire time he was at the hospital. It was cute but a little annoying when I wanted to check out his toes! These are strumpfhosen. Babies wear these under their clothes for just an extra layer of warmth (in addition to a onesie, undershirt, regular clothes and socks, usually with a hat and coat from Sept. until May). These are baby boy strumpfhosen and they make me laugh. I've seen little girls wear them with skirts and it's cute because they're all patterned. But he'll be wearing them under his pants when it gets cold!
Jeffrey also has a vocabulary of about 10 signs now. He knows milk, water, food/eat, all done, fan, cracker, candy, more, please, and help. It was a little frustrating at first, trying to teach him and thinking that he really wasn't learning anything. But he's learning so fast now. He'll usually only cry if he's tired or really cranky or I just don't get what he's trying to tell me. I'll include the video of the sign he learned in record time (just me showing him twice).
